Sophie Gras was born in France in a
family of cooks and caterers.
Her love for
gastronomy is part of her family’s legacy: She was literally raised in the
kitchen in her parents’ and grandmother’s shadow, Sophie Gras would intently
watch their slightest movement in awe. This love has been transmitted from
generation to generation, and gastronomic cuisine has quickly turned out to
be the family’s specialty.
This passion for food and this long family tradition have
motivated Sophie into pursuing a career as a Chef. Sophie has worked for
international enterprises, thus becoming a world traveler searching for
knowledge on various cultures and their cuisine.
Sophie has been in Rhode Island since January
2001 where she is now a Personal Chef.
